WHY CHOOSE SR500 STEEL TARGETS?
UNRIVALED DURABILITY
Our SR500 steel targets are crafted from steel with a Brinell Hardness Number (BHN) exceeding 500, making them exceptionally durable and superior to AR500 steel. Shoot round after round with confidence, knowing that your SR500 target can withstand the toughest challenges and still deliver outstanding performance.
SAFETY FIRST
Safety is paramount on the range, and SR500 steel targets excel in this regard. With their superior hardness, they minimize the risk of dangerous bullet fragmentation and ricochets, keeping you and your fellow shooters safe during every session.
CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE
Experience the joy of consistent target feedback with SR500 steel. Reduced deformation and dimpling ensure clear hits, allowing you to fine-tune your marksmanship skills and track your progress with ease.
COST-EFFECTIVE INVESTMENT
While SR500 steel targets may have a slightly higher upfront cost compared to others, their extended lifespan and reduced maintenance expenses make them a smart long-term investment. Enjoy the benefits of a target that lasts, saving you both time and money in the long run.
RECOMMENDED USE OF SR500 STEEL TARGETS
- Shooting Distance: Maintain the appropriate shooting distance for your specific SR500 steel target. For handguns, a minimum of 10 yards is recommended, while rifles should be used at a minimum distance of 100 yards.
- Target Angle: Set up your SR500 steel targets with a slight forward tilt (approximately 20 degrees) to deflect bullets safely downward.
- Ammunition: Use only lead core, copper jacketed ammunition. Avoid steel core, armor piercing, or green tip ammo.
- Inspect Regularly: Inspect your targets regularly for wear and damage. Replace targets that show significant pitting or deformation.
